Colton Barlow is the Chief Information Officer at Viejas Casino & Resort. Colton is a high performing IT professional who believes in the empowerment of his team, with cyber security as the base to all operations. Prior to his career at Viejas Casino and Resort, Colton worked as an IT consultant specializing in casino/resort mergers, acquisitions, new construction, and general consulting for over 15 years. In 2023, Colton was the recipient of the San Diego Top Tech Award in the Hospitality category and has been recognized for his work in over 30 casino resort properties across the USA and Canada. In Colton’s downtime, he loves to work in his wood shop on any new project that crosses his mind, or is out enjoying nature while camping, overlanding or scuba diving.

Jeremiah Martinez, an accomplished professional with an extensive background spanning two decades, intricately woven between the casino industry and the dynamic realm of Information Technology. At present, Jeremiah serves as the IT Director for Eagle Mountain Casino, a role held for the last 9 years. In the years 2018 through 2022, Jeremiah not only directed the IT Department for Eagle Mountain Casino but ran the IT Department for the for the Tule River Tribal Government facilities as well. Jeremiah’s focus is unwaveringly directed towards steering the IT Department to new heights, ensuring seamless integration of technology within the dynamic and fast-paced casino
environment.

Steven Nino is a director of the Soboba Economic Development Corporation. He has had the honor and privilege to work for Soboba for the past 15+ years; some even said he grew up professionally with Soboba. Over this time, his experience from Soboba and his continued education to obtain an Associate Degree in Computer Network, Bachelors in Information Security, and a Master’s degree in Business Administration have allowed him to hold the Chief Information Officer role for the Tribe over the last three and half years. In this role, he is responsible for all aspects of the Soboba Band of Luiseño Indians organization’s information technology, and systems, including Tribal government offices, Noli School, Soboba Springs Golf Course, the Gaming Commission, Casino T.A.N.F., and all other Tribal owned and operated enterprises.

Beyond the Soboba experience, he has had the privilege of working with bank mergers and acquisitions for Washington Mutual to Chase for contract work. Additionally, he is an active member and ambassador for TribalNet, a leading Tribal Technology organization that has helped bridge the technology gap in many Tribal nations over the last twenty years.

He is an IT leader that can provide technical expertise that powers sustainable business growth. He brings many years of knowledge and experience in supervision, analyzing, designing, implementing, and migrating systems. Furthermore, he can provide outstanding strategic planning, organizational development, leadership, and decision-making skills. He thrives in high-pressure environments, implementing environment-specific standards and processes to achieve consistent uptime. Patrick Tinklenberg

Patrick Tinklenberg is the Vice President of Information Technology with Sycuan Casino where, for the last 9 years, he has been responsible for technology and strategy for the casino, hotel, and golf resort. Previously to this position, Patrick was the IT Director for the Barona Band of Mission Indians for 7 years where he ran the IT operations at all tribal government service facilities, government-supported enterprises, and the Barona Gaming Commission. A veteran of the IT industry for over 25 years, he has worked with companies in Transportation, Medicine, Real Estate, Government, Manufacturing, and Retail to align business objectives with technology. Since joining the Tribal IT industry in 2005 he has facilitated projects across all areas of government and casino operations. As a gaming operations executive, he has been instrumental in the implementation of innovative loyalty programs, digital content management systems, CRM, and a number of strategic infrastructure initiatives. His other accomplishments as a Tribal technology executive include reservation-wide wireless broadband, GIS mapping, electronic document management, implementation of citizen service platforms, and unified communications.
