Daniel Kustelski, CEO at Chalkline- Daniel is a West Point graduate and former Engineer Officer and Captain in the US Army with over 10 years at a senior level leadership in gambling and sports. Prior to Chalkline Sports, Daniel co-founded a leading sports betting company in South Africa that was sold to Sun International, Africa’s second-largest casino group, and now operates as Sunbet. Daniel’s co-founder in the sports betting business, Jason Foster, have worked together ever since. Prior to Sunbet, Daniel led teams and organizations in the sports marketing industry in positions at Octagon and Megapro. Daniel worked in securing sponsors for the 2010 World Cup, including Sony, and worked on brand partnerships with organizations such as Manchester United and South African rugby. Daniel is one of the few American sports betting leaders who holds gaming licenses in both North America and Africa. He is a regular speaker at conferences, including ICE in London, G2E in Las Vegas, ICE North America, and Gambling Regulators of Africa. Daniel earned his MBA from Wits Business School in Johannesburg, South Africa and a B.S. from The United States Military Academy in West Point, New York. Daniel is a proud and active father of two, and a member of several community organizations.
Joe Kustelski, Co-founder at Chalkline- Joe has spent nearly 20 years building and leading teams that live at the intersection of marketing, entertainment and technology. Prior to Chalkline, Joe served as CEO of Etix, and led the company to a successful exit in 2015. Etix processed annual ticketing receipts of $450,000,000 and employed over 100 team members. Etix acquired Rockhouse Partners, a company that Joe co-founded, before Joe took the lead role at the joint company. Previously, Joe led and scaled business divisions and products at Ticketmaster, Idealab and MediaNews Group, and served as the Product Manager for the 2010 launch of the Nashville Entrepreneur Center. Joe has lived and worked for two-year stints in both Asia and Europe, and spends his free time cooking, playing soccer and traveling with his wife, Annie.
