Presentation Summary: Telehealth has already served a vital role with rural native communities. Now, during the COVID-19 pandemic, telehealth has become a necessity in delivering essential healthcare to native populations nationwide, using a safe, patient-centered approach. During this session, CTG will share a framework for adding telehealth to practices’ technology and workflows; we’ll discuss critical considerations for implementing telehealth efficiently, and review key measurements to determine if your implementation is performing as intended. We’ll share examples of how other organizations have leveraged telehealth for purposes ranging from routine primary care to the monitoring of their most at-risk patient populations.
Presenter: Jeanette Ball, RN PCMH CCE, a Client Solution Executive for Value-Based Care at CTG, has an extensive clinical, population health and healthcare administrative background. As a senior consultant and Registered Nurse, Jeanette has more than 30 years of experience in healthcare, including a 10-year history of outpatient medical center executive administration, and more than 10 years as a senior consultant in clinical application design, population health strategies and overall health system preparation for responding to health care reform and value based care. Jeanette demonstrates knowledge and experience supporting the integration of IT solutions with medical care delivery, specializing in Patient Centered Medical Home (PCMH) recognition, population health, workflow analysis, process redesign, provider clinician adoption, and quality redesign.
Presenter: Dana Bensinger, MSN, RN-BC, is a Client Solution Executive at CTG, and an Informatics Nurse Specialist with 30 years of experience in the healthcare industry. He is a Registered Nurse who is board-certified in Nursing Informatics, and holds a Six Sigma Green Belt. Dana has experience working with numerous healthcare organizations, including large IDNs, non-profits, children’s hospitals, and ambulatory and physician practices. Although he specializes in Epic, Dana has expertise in multiple EHR systems in the areas of planning, system selection, implementation, and optimization.
